In this edition, I wanted to incorporate more photography into my designs. My favorite instance of this is on pg. 22-23, where I transitioned from a photograph into an illustration; in doing so – as the ball left the player’s and transformed into the World Cup Trophy – I was able to bring a greater significance to the design. 

As a visual learner, I also wanted to try creating an untraditional infographic that was heavily visual (pg. 19). This design element showcases the advancements in women’s sports from 2019-2023; I chose to present the statistics in the form of icons – the soccer ball, arrow and TV – so that readers could easily see that 2023 has held the most advancements for women’s sports.
